Curious about the Distilled Promo Pack? Learn what's inside, how to use it in your games, and whether it's worth adding to your collection.
Quick Answer
The Distilled Promo Pack adds 14 new cards to your game, including distillers, premium bottles, and customizable flavor cards. It's a low-cost way to expand variety, but it's not essential for every player.
What the Promo Pack Adds to Your Game
The Distilled Promo Pack is a compact expansion that introduces new distillers from around the world, giving you fresh strategies and thematic variety. It also includes premium bottles and customizable flavor cards, which let you tweak the game to your group's preferences.
Because the pack is small (just 14 cards), it's easy to shuffle into your existing setup without adding complexity. The cards are designed to integrate seamlessly with the base game, so you can mix and match without worrying about balance issues.
How to Use the Cards in Play
The new distillers function like the ones in the base game, so you can swap them in or out as you like. Premium bottles act as upgrades, giving you more options when you're building your distillery. Customizable flavor cards add a personal touch, letting you create unique combinations that suit your play style.
If you're hosting a game night, the promo pack is a great way to surprise regular players with something new. It's also a nice addition if you're a collector who wants to complete your Distilled set.
Decision Rules for the Distilled Promo Pack
- If you want more variety in your games: The new distillers and bottles add fresh strategies, so grab this pack if you play Distilled regularly and want to mix things up.
- If you're a collector: Since it's a Kickstarter promo from 2021, it may be harder to find later. If you like having complete sets, it's worth picking up while available. Check availability now if you're a completionist.
- If you're new to Distilled: You can still use the promo cards, but they're not necessary to enjoy the base game. Start with the core set and add this later if you want more depth.
